It is an exciting time for therapists at Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice! Our clinical model is designed to get patients back to independent living as quickly as possible. A key to success is beginning therapy as quickly as possible and intensifying services from the beginning. We are committed to our patients and the health care partners with whom we work to maximize safety and functional capacity in a timely manner.
As a result of our commitment, we currently have per diem openings for physical therapists in all of our locations (Lewiston, Norway, Wilton and Bridgton), which serve seven counties in central and western Maine.
Androscoggin is a great place to work. In fact, the agency has been chosen as one of Maines Best Places to work four consecutive times. Our physical therapists enjoy an autonomous professional practice seeing 5 - 6 patients a day. Our pay is highly competitive and we have excellent benefits.
Home health service is the component of comprehensive health care whereby services are provided to individuals and families in their places of residence for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, or restoring health, or minimizing the effect of illness and disability.
In the highly competitive world of home care and hospice where for-profit businesses are the norm, Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice remains true to its independent, non-profit roots that were firmly planted in 1966. Androscoggin is known for putting patients first and has never turned a patient away due to an inability to pay. In fact, last year $1.3 million in free care was provided to 1,156 patients with no ability to pay. Our caring, compassionate staff and our commitment to the 131 communities we serve across seven Maine Counties in Central and Western Maine is what sets us apart.
A fully comprehensive job description will be discussed during the interview process.
