Job Description

$500 sign on bonus for external applicants hired into a position 30 standard hours or more!! (New MGH Hires only. Rehires within 1 year are not eligible)

The CRMA is responsible for carrying out direct resident care assignments, including appropriate distribution of medications, to ensure the quality of life for all
residents. In the absence of a supervisor, the CRMA may provide occasional functional supervision of facility and other employees. This position includes rotating holiday
coverage.

Qualifications

Ensures quality of care by assisting residents in all aspects of daily living, promoting resident independence, providing emotional support, and ensuring
resident and employee safety in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.
Assists with identification and follow up of facility and resident issues and needs by observation, required documentation, and frequent communication with the supervisor.
Ensures social, emotional and recreational well- being of resident by participating in 1:1 and group activity-focused care program in cooperation with Director of Activities.
Assists with orientation and on-going in-house training for Resident Aides.
In absence of or per supervisor, may occasionally act as shift charge person by providing guidance and direction to other staff, taking necessary action for
building needs and safety concerns.

The ideal candidate will have:
1 year or more of experience preferred.
Current Maine CRMA certification required.
Personal Support Specialist (PSS), Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), RCS, or RCS1 preferred.
